2026 Veteran Families Forum

BATTLE OF BRITAIN ‘LACE’

Expressions of Interest are now open for the 2026 Veteran Families Forum later this year.

The Forum brings together people with lived experience as part of a veteran family to work together on improvements to the way families of veterans are supported. It’s a chance for family members to contribute directly to conversations about what works, what doesn’t, and where change might be needed.

Expressions of interest from adult children of veterans (18+) are particularly welcome. We know the experience of growing up in a veteran family can shape people’s lives in unique ways, so they would love to see more children of veterans bring their perspectives to the Forum this year.

Department of Veterans’ Affairs also encourages non-veteran men to apply. In previous years, male family members have been underrepresented, and we’d love to see more of those voices around the table.
