AFA National Board Re-Elected

BATTLE OF BRITAIN ‘LACE’

The Air Force Association is delighted to confirm that its full National Board has been re-elected, ensuring experienced and steady leadership continues to guide the organisation’s important work supporting serving and former Air Force members, their families and our proud heritage.

President Joe Iervasi remains at the helm, with Deanna Nott re-elected as Vice President. Directors Mel Hupfeld, Greg Hood were also returned and will continue to work alongside Director Jim Campbell together with Honorary Secretary Peter Colliver and Chief of Air Force representative Air Commodore Steven Parsons. The entire Board composition remains unchanged.

The National Board and Federation Council (pictured) came together in Melbourne for a productive couple of days focused on strengthening the organisation and better supporting our Air Force Family.

Discussions covered important areas including commemoration activities, heritage preservation, advocacy and our ongoing fundraising efforts for homeless veterans. These conversations reinforced our shared commitment to serving those who have served.

Vice President and Director of Communications Deanna Nott said the re-elected Board hit the ground running.

“It was wonderful to come together as a national team immediately after the re-election. We had some excellent, focused meetings and made real progress on the issues that matter most to our members – from commemoration and heritage to advocacy and practical support for veterans in need.

“The continuity of the current Board gives us a strong foundation to keep building momentum for the Air Force family.”
