BATTLE OF BRITAIN ‘LACE’

The Department of Veterans’ Affairs has released the recording of the Pathway to Peace and Solidarity seminar, marking 25 years since Australia’s pivotal role in Timor-Leste’s journey to independence.

The event featured distinguished speakers, including former Prime Minister John Howard and General Sir Peter Cosgrove, who reflected on Australia’s peacekeeping contributions and ongoing ties with Timor-Leste.

The seminar explores key topics, including veterans’ experiences in peace operations, Australia’s enduring relationships with allies, and collaboration between the Australian Defence Force and Australian Federal Police.

The recording is available online with timestamps and chapters, making it easy to access relevant content for research, education, or historical interest.
