Veteran Employment Program Launches 2025 Webinar Series to Boost Veteran Recruitment

The Veteran Employment Program has opened registrations for its 2025 Veteran Employer Webinar Series, aimed at equipping employers with actionable strategies to recruit and retain veterans while fostering inclusive workplaces.

The series promises expert insights from industry leaders and veteran-focused organisations.

Kicking off the lineup is “Finding Veteran Talent Using SEEK” on Thursday, March 6, from 1:00 to 1:45 PM AEDT. This session will feature SEEK experts sharing tips on optimising company profiles to attract veteran candidates. Subsequent webinars will cover topics like enhancing veteran performance, workplace wellbeing and building effective veteran programs, with sessions scheduled throughout the year:

  • Attracting Veterans and Families into Your Workforce – April 9, 1:00–2:00 PM AEST (EON Protection, Working Spirit)
  • Bringing Out the Best in Veterans – June 3, 1:00–2:00 PM AEST (Stryker, Torode Solutions, Westpac Group)
  • Wellbeing and Workplace Connections – September 16, 1:00–2:00 PM AEST (BAE Systems Australia, Invictus Australia)
  • Perfecting Veteran Programs and Pathways – November 20, 1:00–2:00 PM AEDT (Bluerydge, Future Women, Reinforce Solutions, Wilson Security)

Each webinar includes a live Q&A, allowing participants to engage directly with speakers. Registration is now open for the full 2025 schedule. The Veteran Employment Program encourages employers to join and explore ways to strengthen their veteran employment efforts.
